There is information about this tower or station from 1497, which suggests that it may have already been standing during the Nasrid period; later, it was restored for use in coastal defense.

The Labyrinth House is located in front of Las Martinicas Beach. It was built by André Bloc in 1964.

The Mesa Roldán Castle was built in the 18th century along with other watchtowers for the defense of the area. Currently, only one of its towers, known as the Tower of La Mesa Roldán, located between Punta de los Muertos and Punta de Media Naranja, is preserved within the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. In its surroundings, the Mesa Roldán Lighthouse deserves special mention.

The Mesa Roldán Lighthouse is located on a flat-topped volcanic hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It is situated 222 meters above sea level. It serves as the gateway to the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. More information
